Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Find clear, authentic answers regarding IQS Islamic courses, Quran memorization (Hifz), admissions, fee structure, online Zoom classes, and Sharia-compliant Ruqyah.

📖 Quran Memorization (Hifz) & Tajweed

What is the monthly fee for the Hifz Quran program?

The monthly tuition fee for the Hifz Quran program (both Online and In-Person) is ₹2,000 per month for domestic Indian students. For NRI students (GCC/Middle East), the tuition is ₹2,000/month, and for international students (US/UK/Europe), it is $25/month. A one-time admission fee of ₹1,000 applies at registration.

How is the Hifz curriculum structured?

Our Hifz program is teacher-led and follows the classical 3-tier memorization method: Sabaq (new daily lesson), Sabqi / Dhor (recent revision of the last 1–2 Juz), and Manzil (cumulative revision of all previously memorized Juz). Daily attendance, recitation accuracy, and Tajweed phonetics are tracked individually for every student.

Is prior Quranic reading required before starting Hifz?

Students must be able to read the Qur’an fluently with basic Tajweed (Naazirah). If a beginner or child is not yet fluent, we enroll them first in our Beginners Course / Maktab to master the Noorani Qaida and correct pronunciation (Makharij) before entering the Hifz track.

Are there separate Hifz classes for sisters?

Yes, IQS conducts dedicated, offline in-person Hifz sessions for sisters and girls at our Frazer Town campus (4:00 PM – 6:30 PM), as well as flexible one-on-one online Hifz batches scheduled around students’ availability.

What is the schedule for online Hifz sessions?

Online Hifz classes run Monday through Friday, 45 minutes per day. We offer both morning and evening time slots to accommodate school-going children, university students, and working professionals across different time zones.

🎓 Islamic Courses & Aalimiyat Programs

What theological methodology (Manhaj) does IQS adhere to?

IQS strictly adheres to the Creed of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah (The Athari Creed) upon the understanding of the Three Golden Generations (As-Salaf al-Salih). We teach pure Tawheed (Ruboobiyyah, Uloohiyyah, Asma’ was-Sifaat), authenticate Hadith strictly via canonical standards, and categorically reject religious innovations (Bid’ah), grave veneration, and speculative theology.

What is the Aalimiyat Program for sisters and girls?

The Aalimiyat Program is an in-depth classical scholarship curriculum covering Quranic Tafseer, Hadith sciences (Riyadh as-Salihin, Bulugh al-Maram, Sahih collections), Usul al-Fiqh, Arabic grammar (Nahw & Sarf), and Seerah. Open to girls aged 10+ and women who can read the Qur’an fluently.

What does the Beginners Islamic Studies Course cover?

Designed for children (ages 5+) and adult reverts/beginners, this 52-week program covers Noorani Qaida, Tajweed rules, memorization of 40 authentic Hadiths, 99 Names of Allah, daily Masnoon supplications, Islamic manners (Akhlaq & Tarbiyah), and the fundamentals of Salah and Taharah.

What is “The Guided Youth” course?

A specialized contemporary Islamic studies course designed for teenagers (ages 12–19) and young adults. It directly tackles modern ideological challenges—such as doubts regarding faith, atheism, liberalism, gender roles, peer pressure, and digital media addictions—grounding youth with unshakeable conviction in the Qur’an and Sunnah.

📝 Admissions, Enrollment & Online Classes

How do I register for a course at IQS?

Enrollment is simple and completely online:

1. Fill out our on-site admission inquiry form at iqs.org.in/form.

2. Our admissions coordinator contacts you on WhatsApp within 24 hours to confirm timings and assessment.

3. Transfer the one-time admission fee + first month’s tuition.

4. You are assigned your teacher and added to the official student batch.

Are online classes live or recorded?

All online classes are 100% live and interactive conducted via Zoom. Students recite directly to qualified instructors who provide real-time corrections on pronunciation, Tajweed, and lesson retention.

Can international students from the US, UK, GCC, and Canada enroll?

Yes! We have hundreds of active international students across the Middle East, North America, the UK, Europe, and Australia. We schedule classes around international time zones for your convenience.

Do you offer weekend-only classes for working professionals?

Yes, personalized learning schedules and weekend batches are available for working professionals and university students who cannot attend weekday sessions.

🛡️ Sharia-Compliant Ruqyah & Spiritual Counseling

What is authentic Sharia Ruqyah and how is it conducted?

Authentic Ruqyah (Ruqyah Ash-Shar’iyyah) is spiritual healing performed strictly through the direct, audible recitation of the Holy Qur’an (Surah Al-Fatihah, Ayat al-Kursi, Surah Al-Baqarah, Surah Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, An-Nas) and authentic supplications taught by the Prophet ﷺ. The Raqi and patient believe firmly that cure comes from Allah alone (Ash-Shafi).

Does IQS issue or allow Taweez (amulets) or black threads?

Absolutely NOT. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ warned unequivocally: “Whoever hangs an amulet has committed Shirk” (Musnad Ahmad — Sahih). IQS strictly forbids and condemns all forms of amulets (Taweez), folded papers, numerology, knots, black threads, and magic. Healing is direct, transparent, and strictly between the believer and Allah.

What conditions are treated in Ruqyah sessions?

We provide diagnostic assessment and therapeutic recitation for afflictions established in Islamic scripture: the Evil Eye (‘Ayn), destructive jealousy/envy (Hasad), spiritual distress, persistent terrifying nightmares, demonic touch (Mass), and marital discord. We also advise consulting medical physicians for physical/clinical symptoms.

What are the fees for Ruqyah sessions?

General Islamic Counseling + Ruqyah is ₹1,000 per session (minimum 3 sessions). Marital Counseling + Ruqyah is ₹2,000 per session (minimum 3 sessions). Modest honorariums cover scheduling and center facilities. Book online at iqs.org.in/ruqya.

Can sisters attend in-person consultations alone?

No. For in-person sessions at our Frazer Town campus, Sharia guidelines require that a Mahram (husband, father, brother, adult son) or a close adult female relative be present throughout the consultation. Complete modesty and Islamic segregation are strictly observed.

Are virtual (online Zoom) Ruqyah consultations available?

Yes. For patients outside Bengaluru or unable to travel, we conduct private, confidential video consultations via Zoom. Sessions include intake history, direct recitation, diagnostic evaluation, and an individualized daily self-Ruqyah plan.
